NUSTAR deposit methods: how buying in works on the Cebu floor
A physical casino has no deposit screen. Money becomes chips at a table or a ticket at a machine, and both happen in front of you.

On a floor the size of NUSTAR's — about 21,000 square metres over two levels — money enters play in one of three ways: notes handed to a dealer and returned as chips, cash loaded straight into one of roughly 1,000 machines, or an exchange at the cashier's cage. All of it is pesos, all of it happens in person, and identification is requested at the cage from defined thresholds upwards because casinos are covered by the country's anti-money-laundering rules. Because the resort's own online activity is registered under different names — Casino Maxx in the PAGCOR register of licensed casinos dated 16 July 2026, and a NuSTAR online brand held by Premier Online Digital Entertainment Corp. in the register of accredited Gaming System Administrators dated 4 December 2025, an online deposit page under this name is an operator's own, and this guide is none of them: we hold no accounts, take no payments and issue nothing.
How money enters play at NUSTAR
- The buy-in happens at the table: notes are laid flat on the felt, counted aloud by the dealer for the camera, and returned as chips.
- Machines take cash directly and pay out a printed ticket, which is why the slot area needs no cashier for ordinary play.
- The cage on the floor exchanges cash for chips away from the table and is the place for larger amounts.
- Pesos are the currency of the floor; foreign notes are exchanged at the cage rather than accepted at a table.
- Identification is requested at the cage from defined thresholds upwards under the country's anti-money-laundering rules, and casinos are covered entities.
- Card cash advances, where a property offers them, are a bank product with bank charges and are not a casino service.
- No deposit exists to be matched, so nothing on the floor behaves like an online welcome offer.

A table buy-in, step by step
- Choose a table whose posted minimum you are comfortable with and wait for the hand in progress to finish before sitting down.
- Place the notes flat on the felt rather than into the dealer's hand — the count has to be visible to the overhead cameras.
- The dealer counts the amount aloud, calls it to the pit, and pushes back the equivalent in chips.
- Present the NUSTAR Rewards card at the same moment if you hold one, so the session is recorded against a tier.
Larger sums are handled at the cage instead, where identification is requested from the applicable threshold upwards.

Amounts on a floor are counted twice — once by the dealer, once by the camera — which is why a buy-in is slower than an online transfer and much harder to dispute.
